Sarah and Wesley may have met briefly in childhood through mutual friends, but didn't get to know each other until they started working together. One day after working together for over four years, Wesley asked Sarah out to paint pottery. Sarah wasn't sure if this was a date or not and if it were, how would she feel about that? Did she like him in that way?

The pottery painting date (not date?) happened one week later, and Sarah found out that it was, in fact, a date. Wesley explained his intentions, and Sarah was thrilled! They both quickly confessed how nervous they were for the date, went to get food, and ended the night after visiting the bookstore.

Over the course of a year from their first date, Wesley knew he needed to get a ring. He found the one and decided he would propose on the anniversary of their first date.

They were in Tennessee with family on their first date anniversary, and Sarah thought they were getting photos for that reason. Wesley planned to propose on the third pose in the pictures being taken while behind Sarah. Sarah turned around to see Wesley on one knee, smiling with a ring box in his hand. "Sarah Beth, I love you so much. You are my best friend, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you marry me?"

"Yes!"

Now they're getting married!!!
